This role can be based anywhere in Germany.

Build, scale and lead KiwiHR’s marketing team to drive demand generation and create a brand that stands out in the HRIS space.

Responsibilities

  • Draw up and implement the global marketing strategy to reach company goals.

  • Assemble a marketing team and assign the various responsibilities to the team members.

  • Set up the inbound marketing engine (e.g., introducing new tools and workflows).

  • Make KiwiHR a recognised source & thought leader in the HRIS space.

  • Set up KPIs and targets for the marketing team, measure & report on their performance.

  • Plan and run new marketing campaigns for every stage of the funnel to improve the quality, relevance, and reach of content across target regions.

  • Work closely with important stakeholders, like the CEO & management team.

  • Do market research to live and breathe the industry (audience, customers, product landscape, competitors).

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, including having experience in defining & rolling out a marketing strategy

  • Extensive knowledge of lead management and inbound marketing

  • Experience in managing marketing for multiple regions

  • Creative storytelling mastery with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in managing big projects with multiple stakeholders

  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to be able to perform the various tasks of your role

  • Ambition to build & lead the marketing team

  • Business level English

  • SaaS & B2B experience is a plus

Mission

Your mission as the new Head of Marketing at KiwiHR will be to 1) drive pipeline and revenue by generating demand and 2) build the KiwiHR brand by telling the story. You will define and execute the marketing strategy that will help us build a strong company identity, grow brand awareness, generate inbound demand and track lead activity. You will collaborate closely with the management team to translate and challenge their vision.

 

12-month journey:

In the first 3 months, you’ll focus on learning everything about KiwiHR; understanding the product, the target markets (DACH & France), the HR landscape, customers, etc. You will start analysing what marketing activities are currently in place and what needs to be improved. You will also create an outline of the marketing strategy.

After 6 months, you’ll become fully immersed in the role and have taken ownership of the global marketing strategy. You’ll build relationships with your team members and the main stakeholders outside the marketing team. You are proposing new marketing projects and campaigns. You’ll also look into working with an agency to build the commercial brand.

After 12 months, you’ll have mastered the role of Head of Marketing. You will have defined hiring needs and started to get the right talent on board. You’re comfortable setting targets for the team while setting them up for success. You clearly understand marketing that drives revenue and builds the KiwiHR brand in our core markets.
